CONFERENCE INTERPRETATION
While sitting in a booth, the interpreter listens to the speaker in source language and instantaneously reproduces the speech in target language. The audience receives the interpretation through headphones while the speech continues.
Due to the high level of concentration involved in this task, two simultaneous interpreters are required for services that last longer than one hour. Then will take turns of about 30 minutes.
CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING
The interpreter listens to the speaker and takes notes to render the interpretation after the speaker has finished a phrase, a set of phrases or the whole speech. Note-taking is a key technique used by the interpreter to remember the structure and main ideas of the speech.
This kind of interpretation is more commonly used for short meetings where there is a single speaker giving a presentation. No equipment is required in this case.

LIAISON INTERPRETING
This kind of interpretation is used as a link between two people or two small groups who speak two different languages. The interpretation has two directions, from and to each language involved in the situation, and could be rendered through whispered or consecutive interpreting. It is suitable for negotiations between very small groups, interviews or official visits.
WHISPERED INTERPRETING
It is used when only one or two people in a room do not understand the language in which the speech is being delivered. The interpreter sits or stands next to the listeners and whispers a simultaneous interpretation of the speech.
Two interpreters alternate in turns of 30 minutes.
